Teena Stoddart started her career with the Ontario Provincial Police in 1991, transferring to the Ottawa Police Services in 1998, and retiring after 30 years of service May 2021. As a Sergeant, Teena supported many critical thinking positions., as well as delivered training in those positions.

In 2010, Teena was seconded to the Ontario Behavioural Science Unit as a Viclas Analyst, where she received training on serial sexual predators from RCMP, as well as training at FBI conferences. As part of her position in Bahavioural Sciences, Teena provided training throughout the Province of Ontario.
January 2018, Teena became one of the founding members of the Canadian Violence Link Coalition and lead the Enforcement Portfolio until November 2020. Teena designed and initiated violence link training as a pilot in Ottawa Police, and then delivered that violence link training throughout Canada.
